The owners were serious about copying rabies certificate for our dog, which we were glad for. So, make sure to bring that if you are traveling with a pet.
We stayed at Autumn Moon campground as an unexpected stopover on a road trip. We called around 8pm for a same-day reservation, and the owners (managers?) did their best to accommodate us. They were a bit gruff on the phone, but when we met them in person they were really quite friendly and extremely helpful!
As stated, the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They live on-site in the main building and said they would be available if need be after 10PM. They were knowledgeable about the local area, gave us good directions, and even recommended a local pizza place which delivers to the camp (and it was quite tasty!).
Our camp site (tent) was also clean, with well-constructed fireplace, but a little close to the next lot. Our camp spot was on a bit of a slope, and it would be nice if some of the larger rocks/roots were removed (I ended up sleeping on a couple).
Outside the bathrooms there is a sink for washing dishes, tubs for recycling (with a sign saying that can deposits go to the local youth hockey team, yay!), and garbage receptacles. Again, everything was very clean and arranged conveniently.

My husband and I stayed @ Autumn Moon on short notice for 2 nights in an RV and the owners were so accommodating & friendly. The setting is very quiet and the facilities are terrific. The seasonal sites nearby were so neat and tidy and unlike other campgrounds. Owners gave great advice with getting to the Saratoga Race Course and local information. We will definitely be returning when in this area again.
Friendly, helpful, always someone around to help... You know a place is special when even the campers are pitching in to make the place beautiful!! There are rock gardens, super clean and private bathrooms, nature walks, access to the town beach (nearby), pot-lucks, laughter, ice cream socials (Roy- one of the family that owns the place- makes homemade fresh churned), and there was even a moose sighting this year!!
The bathrooms were clean and well-appointed, though one was clogged when we went to use it after hours. We didn't use the showers, so can't comment on that.

Property is nice and well kept with full hookups at the RV sites (though somewhat packed), and electrical at the three wooded tent sites which are nice sized with good picnic tables and fire pits. Limited to no cell service. Bathrooms are nice which is great especially if you are tenting, though they are only cleaned on a semi-regular basis. Laundry room only has one washer and dryer but are in good condition. There's also a handy small convenience store. Management unfortunately is another story. The son is good, however the mother is not. Seemed evident she made a passive-aggressive effort to make the stay less than pleasurable which was apparent from reservation through checkout, and jumps to all kinds of conclusions. Like she was somehow inconvenienced or put out and also doesn't listen well as a result. She's certainly glad when you leave. She repeatedly does a very poor job of even the most basic accounting and dates, but somehow you're the one at fault. She also gets way too wound up and in your business should you dare have a visitor (like holy smokes, lady, chill out), and nosy in general. She's the only thing that brings the place down, otherwise they'd easily be 4-5 stars. :(
If we find ourselves in the area again, we plan on staying at Autumn Moon. A lot of thought obviously goes into the upkeep of the campgrounds, and we appreciated their efforts!
The grounds were well-maintained and even the RV slots which looked to be long-term tenants were kept very tidy (no random belongings left out, etc). The paths around the campground were lined with small lights for good navigation after dark, and we really appreciated this.
